This 12-Hour Supervisor Qualifying Course is approved by the state of Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling pursuant to Section 491.005, F.S., and 64B4 F.A.C. I will equip the participants with everything they need to supervise practicum students, registered clinical social worker interns, registered marriage and family therapy interns, and mental health counselor interns. Upon completion of this course, participants will be versed in major models of clinical supervision, identify their own model of clinical supervision, develop proficiency in the business aspect of supervision, familiarized with evidence-based supervision interventions. Participants will learn professional guidelines for best practice in clinical supervision to protect patients, supervisees, supervisors, and the profession. I will confer certificate of completion to participants, frames, and I will report their CEUs to CE Broker. The training will be in-person, and I will provide continental breakfast, drinks, and snacks.
